Dear friends of tellows,
this week we have quite a few numbers that are no strangers to our list – some of which prove that it’s sometimes good to look past the tellows score and read other user’s comments as well. But let’s have a look:
1. 099204056 from New Zealand with 3 comments and 1310 search requests. tellows Score: 7
2. 044630500 from New Zealand with 2 comments and 879 search requests. tellows Score: 6
3. 093795050 from New Zealand with 2 comments and 540 search requests. tellows Score: 5
4. 0061283240300 from Australia with 2 comments and 1959 search requests. tellows Score: 3
5. 0296123591 from Australia with 4 comments and 1373 search requests. tellows Score: 6
Our first number, 099204056, was quite busy this month, ranking on the second place of our list just a few weeks before. So far, most of our users have considered the calls from Auckland as nuisance and reported them as telemarketing. Similarly, our second place, number 044630500, appears to bother our users. The persistent calls of the number from Wellington lead user Lola to write:
Hey, does anyone know something about this number? It does not stop calling me.
The third number of this week’s list, 093795050, appears to be calling from Waiheke Island. According to the comments of our users, the caller does not seem particularly interested in an actual conversation, not responding or disconnecting the call when answered. User hi5 commented:
calls my mobile every few weeks, never leaves a message. I have managed to answer once & a lady spoke and said she was from the Hawkes Bay Today (I think??) and then the phone just hung up. I have tried to call back, but get a NZ Herald call-centre who are very unhelpful!
Ranking on our fourth place, the number 0061283240300 from Sydney, Australia, holds a score of 3 – indicating that it might be trustworthy. However, some users seem to have a different opinion, advising against answering calls from the number. Rated with a tellows score of 6, number 0296123591, is deemed untrustworthy by most of our users. Apparently, there has also been a case of misrating as user guy replied to the comment of another user:
than I guess rating the number with a score of one is not appropriate. it should rather be close to 8 or 9. but at the end of the day, there is still no caller on the other end. yet it keeps calling.
So if you consider a number untrustworthy, please remember that a rating between 6 to 9 (9 being definitely untrustworthy) would be suitable. To indicate that a number is reliable or trustworthy you can choose a rating of 1 to 4 (1 being definitely trustworthy) and if you are unsure, a rating of 5 (neutral) could suffice. If you have any further information on a number, please don’t hesitate to contribute to our community. Enjoy a great, hopefully spam- and scam-free weekend.
